This tune, HYFRYDOL, can be assigned to several different texts, including “Our Great Savior, and “Come, Thou Long Expected Jesus.” Here it is used for the ever-favorite, “I Will Sing of My Redeemer.” With lower keys and rich harmonies, the pianist and instrumentalists can enjoy the possibility of four stanzas, three in E-flat and the fourth in F. Cues and markings are given in the score, and repeats can be taken as many times as desired. This hymn is a great way to gel several sections of hymns together, and can easily become a staple in many worship contexts. Includes a full score, a piano score, and all individual instrumental parts: treble clef C instrument, treble clef B-flat instrument, horn, and bass clef instrument.

The beautiful accompaniment and the unison congregation could be used both congregationally and chorally (as we did)… For small to medium-sized choirs on low attendance Sundays these could be effective choral pieces or as a way to develop choir and orchestra when (as is our case) some choir members are also instrumentalists. We used three pieces as part of our Easter celebration. All were very well received. We were able to include our developing orchestra with all of it. So, thank you!
