Here is an accompaniment for a popular new hymn, adapted from the original composer’s stylistic ideas. Two stanzas plus refrain are offered in this arrangement, along with a repeated refrain and brief tag, “I will sing of the goodness of God.” This piece is scored for piano, cello, viola, violin, and flute. Each instrumental part includes stanza and refrain cues, as well as markings and articulations. The set also includes a file for your congregation to learn the hymn, if desired.

The beautiful accompaniment and the unison congregation could be used both congregationally and chorally (as we did)… For small to medium-sized choirs on low attendance Sundays these could be effective choral pieces or as a way to develop choir and orchestra when (as is our case) some choir members are also instrumentalists. We used three pieces as part of our Easter celebration. All were very well received. We were able to include our developing orchestra with all of it. So, thank you!
